hello all

I am sorry for keep moaning about this but i know a lot of you will have been there or are there like me i have just been told that they are finnishing me on capability they are saying i can not do my job but the job they gave me 2 yrs ago as resanable ajustments they are now saying this was onlty a temporey job even though they never said it at all. they just told me what they wanted me to do an i have done two apprasals that have given me tasks to develop round the job i am doing now. and they have said they are not going to make me redundant they are just getting rid of me because i have become disabled.

my union is not happy with this so they are going to advice me on what is next.

hope you are all well and not in as much pain as i am at this minute in time.

all the best

Audrey.

this is naughty on their part your union should go for disability discrimination act,(DDA)the company i worked for got bought over and took out the things that had been put in place for me, i had to struggle again at work it was really awfull and ended up leaving, they just didnt listen as i could do and had done the job for years i asked for an o/t to work asses me again but they ignored my request, rich-c may be a man that knows more on this, i felt in my case if they want you out then out you go,hope union finds the answer in it( i didnt have a union )good luck,

Hi Audrey

So sorry you are having a hard time at the moment. I hope your pain subsides soon and your union sorts something out for you.

Hi Audrey,
They are so, so bad. If you have a contract you are permanent unless your contract says otherwise and it would have to be pretty carefully worded to get away with it. If you've been employed for 2 years continuously you are permanent not temporary. They're really taking the micky. Hope your union is hot on their tail coats, take them to the cleaners girl, they are out of order! I always find being cross the best energy for getting things done! Doesn't work for everyone but I hope things start improving for you soon.

Hello Audrey

Sorry I was away when you started this post. How awful for you and so very upsetting. I can't see that
this can be right.

As it is a week forward now - how are you getting on ?
